Story

In the 1960s, the Saint-Germain quarter in Paris lived to the beat of all-nighters and artistic encounters. Orphéon was one of the bars buzzing with energy, where the founders of diptyque liked to meet up. The atmosphere was warm and people could relax to the sound of jazz... Today, all that remains of Orphéon is a faceted blue column in the back of the boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain.

The Fragrance Gestures draw their inspiration from the history of perfume, reinventing textures to offer a new approach to personal scenting. It is a way to make the invisible sensual, and the ethereal tangible. Each of the gestures - eau de toilette, perfume oil, body mist or body balm - has a specific concentrate designed to offer the best olfactory rendering depending on its formulation. With its high concentration, it can often be used alone depending on the moment and the mood. Matter becomes scent, scent becomes matter...

Formulation and texture

Upon contact with water, this scented gel becomes an incredibly light and silky cleansing foam. Enriched with shea butter, it both perfumes and softens the skin. Its notes unfold with an intensity that envelops your whole body in fragrance – the scent of this gel will fill your entire bathroom, as if inviting you on a journey.
